How’d you get here? After attending JDC Central for the first two years of its existence, I couldn’t help but want to stay involved with the competition and see it grow. Volunteer to delegate to….what was next? The JDC Central 2012 OC! When presented with the opportunity to co-chair JDCC 2012, I jumped at the chance to showcase Ottawa and the Sprott School of Business and ultimately leave my mark on an even that is well on its way to becoming one of the biggest and best opportunities for business students across the country!

Responsibilities for JDCC 2012: Along with my partner in crime, Mark Featherstonhaugh, I am responsible for overseeing the competition as a whole and ensuring that everything goes off as flawlessly as possible. More specifically, I am responsible for the external operations of JDCC including human resources, communications, finances and sponsorship (each of which have a respective VP who you will be introduced to shortly). Above all else, I am responsible for making sure that every attendee at JDC Central 2012 has the time of their life!

What is your favorite Disney movie? Without a doubt, Cinderella mostly because a certain quote from the best song in the movie: “If you keep on believing, the dreams that you wish will come true”… such a good quote to live by. And I’ve always secretly wanted to be a princess… I mean who wouldn’t want a fairy godmother?!
