How’d you get here? After finishing my first year at Carleton University, I really wanted to get more involved with the Sprott School of Business. I’ve always loved to show school spirit and throughout the year I’d noticed people showing theirs with the famous blue JDCC jackets. Once I heard my accounting TA brag about it, I was even more inspired, and now I’m proud to say I’m part of the organizing committee for one the best and most exciting business extravaganzas!
Responsibilities: Logistics comes down to a few main responsibilities like transportation, food, venues and fixing all the behind-the-scenes glitches that occur with them. With my Co-VP Logistics, Tommy Taylor, I will be responsible for an assortment of tasks, whether it’s making sure buses are coming to pick up our busy JDCC competitors or feeding them. Then again, since JDCC 2012 is going to be perfection, maybe you’ll just see me lounging in a pool chair.
What is your favorite Disney movie? I love Beauty and the Beast, partly because of all the songs but even more because of the talking teapots, it’s not every movie that your dishes come to life!
