How’d you get here? Having seen the competition come alive from a competitors’ perspective and help it grow through my position on CABS, I was excited for the opportunity to be involved as part of the Organizing Committee and help the competition reach its potential as one of the top business students’ competitions in Canada. I have grown up in Ottawa and am excited for the chance to showcase my city and my school to the rest of Ontario and the Maritimes while helping to bring them one of the best weekends of their lives. My experience with cases, both in competition and through the class I helped Sprott put together, made VP Academic the best choice.
Responsibilities for JDCC 2012: As VP Academic I am in charge of the case competition portion of JDCC 2012. I ensure that the cases are written, the judges are there and informed and make sure the presentations run smoothly and on schedule.
What is your favorite Disney movie? Hands down, the Little Mermaid. As a kid I knew the entire movie word for word, in English AND in French. I always thought it would be so cool to be able to live above and below the water, in two worlds! Plus Ariel is the prettiest of the Disney Princesses and what little girl (or grown up girl) doesn’t want to be a princess?
