How’d you get here? Growing up in BC I would hear about JDC West from my older colleagues and how it was an absolutely amazing event.  When I heard that Carleton was hosting the Central version of the event I couldn’t stay away.  I thought since the event was being hosted in our nation’s capital, my parliamentary experience would be a good fit for the OC.  I love a great debate and I look forward to some fantastic one’s at JDCC 2012!

Responsibilities for JDCC 2012: As VP debate I am responsible for everything debate related, this includes, the creation of the debate schedules, the recruitment of judges, training of volunteers, briefings for debaters and judges, the creation of resolutions and any other issues surrounding debate that may arise during the tournament.

What is your favorite Disney movie? Since I grew up on the west coast where everything revolved around the ocean, seagulls are everywhere and all the characters in this movie can be found at the Vancouver Aquarium, my favourite disney movie is obviously Finding Nemo!
