How’d you get here? I just had so much fun at JDC Central 2011 that I just didn’t want to give up that experience. I was lucky enough that Carleton and Sprott are hosting JDCC 2012 because it allowed me to keep living the dream even after graduation. My experience competing at JDCC, as well as general experience with webdesign and maintenance made me an ideal fit for VP Communications.
Responsibilities as part of JDCC 2012 OC: I am responsible for maintaining the website, securing the laptops for the academics, and implementing a social media strategy. That means that I will be on twitter, facebook, and the website to ensure that competitors, volunteers, captains, sponsors, and family and friends can all be kept up to date on all the happenings for the event. I will also be working alongside all members of the OC to maintain a consistent brand and marketing strategy. If you have ideas for the website or think something is missing, never hesitate to contact me. This event takes all of us.
What is your favourite Disney movie? Beauty and the Beast, I just found that I like Belle the most – she was probably the most down to earth Disney Princess.
